Peugeot 208 GTi - Front-wheel drive five-seater hatchback. It is offered exclusively in a three-door body. In Ukraine, it is available in two colors - white (basic) and red (option). The package includes a switchable stability control system, six airbags, multimedia with a 7-inch color display and six speakers, a USB connector, cruise control, LED daytime running lights, dual-zone climate control, a central armrest, rear parking sensors, combined leather in the cabin, 17" alloy wheels.
You can improve the already very good equipment with the help of options. For a surcharge, premium acoustics from JBL, navigation, 17-inch wheels of a different design, and a car park are offered.
From the usual Peugeot 208 the GTi version is distinguished by a sporty “decor” inside and out, as well as a redesigned chassis. The suspension was stiffened by 20%, a front stabilizer bar increased in diameter and a stronger subframe was installed. Thanks to the new chassis settings, it provides maximum wheel contact with the road, as well as neutral cornering.
The heart of the hot hatch is the EP6 series turbo engine, from 1600 cubic centimeters of which the engineers removed 200 hp. and 275 Nm. And while maximum power is only reached at 5,800 rpm, peak torque is already available at 1,700 rpm. To "hundreds" hatchback weighing about 1.1 tons accelerates in 6.8 seconds. The maximum speed is 230 km/h.
Ukrainian Peugeot prices announced at the beginning of June 2013 . The first deliveries to our market - mid-August.
