Peugeot 208 - The debut of the model took place at the 2012 spring motor show in Geneva. It is noteworthy that almost immediately the hatchback entered the top ten best-selling cars in the European market. Traditionally, the Peugeot 208 is offered in five- and three-door versions, which also differ not only in the number of openings, but also in the exterior decor.

The hatchback is offered on the market in three trim levels: Access, Active and Allure. In the basic version, the Peugeot 208 is equipped with ABS, emergency braking assistance systems (EBA), brake force distribution (EBFD), electric power steering, two airbags, remote control locks, steering wheel adjustable in length and angle, front power windows. For a surcharge, the car can be equipped with air conditioning. The only possible power plant for the initial configuration is a Vti gasoline engine with a volume of one liter and a power of 68 hp, paired with “mechanics”.

For Active and Allure trim levels, a wider range of engines is offered:

• 1.2-liter gasoline engine with 82 hp + manual transmission (not available for Allure);

• 1.2-liter gasoline engine with 82 hp + robotic gearbox for five gears (will appear on the market from July);

• 1.6-liter gasoline engine 120 hp + four-speed automatic;

• 1.6-liter diesel engine with 92 hp + manual transmission.

In addition, a much longer list of additional options opens up in the middle and top configurations for the Peugeot 208: from interior upholstery and multimedia to additional passive and active safety equipment. In particular, when buying, you can order a stability control system, as well as side and curtain airbags.

In terms of interior trim, the number of power plants, the Peugeot 208 can compete with more expensive cars. The model is produced in Slovakia and France.
