Peugeot Traveler - the presentation of the new minivan took place in March 2016 at the Geneva Motor Show. The Traveler is unified with the Citroën Spacetourer and Toyota Proace: all models are built on the EMP2 platform of the French PSA Group, have the same technical equipment, engines and equipment, but differ in the corporate style characteristic of each of the brands. In addition to the passenger versions of the Traveler, Spacetourer and Proace are available as commercial vans.

The safety of the model was noted by the specialists of the European committee Euro NCAP. According to the results of a series of crash tests, the new Traveler earned the highest rating is 5 stars.

Thanks to the use of a modular platform, Peugeot Traveler is available in three lengths: 4.6, 4.95 and 5.3 m, while the height of cars does not exceed 1.94 m, which allows you to drive to covered parking lots without restrictions. On the Ukrainian market, the model is presented in versions L2 (4.95) and L3 (5.3 m), which are available in Business (from 5 to 9 seats) and VIP (4 or 5 seats are located opposite each other). The latter also has richer equipment.

The basic equipment of the Peugeot Traveler includes: ABS, ESP, EBD, AFU (emergency braking assistance) and Hill Start Assist (assist when starting on a hill), cruise control with a speed limiter, front and side airbags for the driver / front passenger , heated steering wheel, climate control, after-start engine heater Webasto. Options include: adaptive cruise control, collision warning and emergency braking in urban traffic, xenon headlights, side curtain airbags and rear passenger airbags, rear view camera, blind spot monitoring, head-up display, keyless entry, power tailgate and other equipment.

The Traveler VIP is additionally equipped with heated front seats, rear parking sensors, power folding mirrors, tinted side windows, head-up display, leather interior, HiFi audio system with subwoofer and amplifier, 7-inch touch screen media system, 17-inch alloy wheels instead of 16-inch . In addition, the VIP version has chrome inserts on the door handles.

The European range of Peugeot Traveler engines is represented by BlueHDi turbodiesels with a volume of 1.6 liters (95, 115 hp) and 2.0 liters (150, 180 hp). In Ukraine, the minivan is available with a 2.0 HDi turbodiesel with a capacity of 150 hp. (torque 370 Nm) in combination with a 6-speed "mechanics" or "automatic" EAT6, and only automatic transmission is provided for the top version. Fuel consumption in the combined cycle according to the passport is 6.0-6.4 l / 100 km, depending on the body and gearbox.

Serial production of the Peugeot Traveler takes place at the PSA Sevelnord plant in Valenciennes, France.
