Description Peugeot Rifter

Peugeot Rifter - five- or seven-seater front- or all-wheel drive "heel" that replaced the passenger Peugeot Partner 2 generations. The official premiere took place in March 2018 at the Geneva Motor Show.

The new Peugeot is technically unified with Citroen Berlingo third generation and Opel Combo fourth generation. All of them are built on the EMP2 platform of the French concern PSA and share the line of power units. The Rifter has a pseudo-McPherson suspension in front, a beam in the back. The car is presented in two body lengths - Standard (4.4 m) and Long (4.75 m), as well as in five- and seven-seater cabin configurations, and the "long" version of the Rifter has not only an increased rear overhang, but also a stretched wheel base. Another innovation compared to the previous Peugeot Partner is that instead of “windows” in the sliding doors, full-fledged electrically lowered windows are installed.

Child seat mounts are provided for each of the second-row seats, and with the Magic Flat option, the rear seatbacks fold out of the trunk into a flat floor. In the Long version, the 2 separate seats in the third row can be moved along the rails or completely removed to increase the volume of the trunk (from 775 liters in a five-seat modification with a standard body to 4000 liters in the Long version with folded seats). In addition, many convenient niches for "small things" are distributed throughout the car's interior.

Peugeot Rifter engines and gearboxes:

Petrol:

• 1.2L PureTech 110 S&S and 5-speed "mechanics";
• 1.2L PureTech 130 S&S. It is combined with an 8-speed "automatic" EAT8 (appears in 2019);

Diesel:

• 1.6L HDi 92 and 5-speed "mechanics"
• 1.5L BlueHDi 75 and 5-speed "mechanics".
• 1.5L BlueHDi 100 and 5-speed "mechanics"
• 1.5L Blue HDi 130 S&S. Combined with 6-speed "mechanics" and 8-speed "automatic" EAT8;

For a surcharge for the Peugeot Rifter, the Grip Control system is provided, which changes the modes of operation of the traction control system for driving off paved roads. In addition, the novelty of the Peugeot lineup received all-wheel drive modifications, which will be produced by Dangel, which has extensive experience with all-wheel drive transmissions. Finally, the range of the model includes a "sporty" version of the GT Line with black accents instead of chrome on the outside, contrasting inserts in the cabin and 17-inch alloy wheels.

The list of options includes an 8-inch media system, engine start button, keyless entry system, head-up display, rear view camera, dual-zone climate control, electric parking brake and a set of modern security systems, including adaptive cruise control with automatic braking.

The Peugeot Rifter is produced at the PSA Groupe plant in the Spanish city of Vigo.
