Peugeot 508 - The premiere of the car took place in 2010 at the Paris Motor Show. It is noteworthy that the new sedan has replaced both the Peugeot 407 and 607 in the model range. After all, with its dimensions, the Peugeot 508 steps on the heels of the E-class, and at a price it does not go beyond the D class.
Peugeot 508 is offered in four basic versions: Access, Active, Allure and GT. In addition to them, special configurations of Business and Business Plus are also available on the Ukrainian market - these are cars of 2012 with additional options.
Not only the level of equipment, but also the choice of power plants will depend on the selected configuration. At the same time, in terms of the ratio of gasoline and diesel engines in the range of Peugeot 508 engines, there is absolute parity - two units from each camp. Gasoline power plants are represented by two versions of the 1.6-liter engine: “aspirated” with 120 hp. and "turbo" for 150 hp Diesels - four-cylinders with a volume of 2 (136 hp, 320 Nm) and 2.2 liters (204 hp, 450 Nm).
Paired with the least powerful motor is a six-speed "robot", with all the rest - a six-speed automatic.
The advantages of the Peugeot 508 include a rich list of active and passive safety systems. At the same time, the entire list is already available in the basic configuration and includes anti-lock brakes, emergency braking assistance, brake force distribution, traction control, dynamic roll control, motion stabilization and 8 airbags.
The level of equipment of each configuration can be supplemented with the help of options. For the top options, there are also four-zone climate control and JBL premium acoustics. Peugeot 508 is produced in France.
