Peugeot 308 SW - a new generation of station wagon, which, according to the latest naming policy of the company, has retained the numerical index of its predecessor. The car is built on the same platform as the hatchback debuted in September 2013 at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Peugeot 308. The public premiere of the station wagon took place in March in Geneva.
Compared with past generation the new five-door has become 8 centimeters longer. The volume of the luggage compartment has grown by almost 40 liters and now stands at 610 liters - the same as that of the "cargo" class leader Skoda Octavia Combi. More only at Honda Civic Tourer (624 l), the supply of which to the Ukrainian market has not yet been approved.
In addition to the fresh appearance, the station wagon has also changed inside. On the front panel, the number of buttons has noticeably decreased, the functions of which have been taken over by the color display. Also, attention is drawn to the new “hovering” instrument panel above the steering wheel.
In Ukraine, the Peugeot 308 SW is available with a 1.6-liter petrol engine (150 hp) and two "diesel engines" of the same volume - with a return of 92 and 120 hp. For the least powerful “heavy fuel” motor, a five-speed manual gearbox is provided, while more productive units are combined with a 6-band “automatic”.
Serial production of the Peugeot 208 SW has been launched in France.
