Peugeot 108 - a compact three- and five-door hatchback, replaced in the line of the French brand model 107. The official presentation took place in March 2014 at the Geneva Motor Show.

The 108th is built on the same platform and is technically unified with the second generation Citro?n C1 and the second generation Toyota Aygo, and the entire trio is produced at a joint venture between PSA and Toyota Motor in the Czech city of Kolin. The new model is 45 mm longer and 30 mm wider than the previous one, but the wheelbase has not changed and is 2340 mm. But the curb weight of the basic version was only 840 kg, and the trunk became more spacious - in the Peugeot 108 it holds 180 liters (with a spare wheel) and increases to 780 liters with the second row backs folded down.

The Peugeot 108 has two engines, both three-cylinder and petrol: a 1.0-liter VTi 68 (68 hp, 95 Nm) and a 1.2-liter PureTech 82 (82 hp, 116 Nm). Gearboxes are five-speed - "mechanics" and "robot". The compact hatch is delivered to Ukraine only in a five-door body with a 68-horsepower engine and manual transmission. From 0 to 100 km/h, such a car accelerates in 15.9 seconds, and fuel consumption in the combined cycle is 4.2 l/100 km.

Even in the basic Active package, the Peugeot 108 hatch boasts good equipment: six airbags, ABS, ESP, Hill Srart Assist, tire pressure monitoring, front electric windows, trip computer, air conditioning, heated front seats and a leather steering wheel. In addition, the list of standard equipment includes daytime running lights with LED elements, electrically adjustable and heated front mirrors, a media system with a 7-inch touch screen, Bluetooth and 4 speakers.

In the older Allure configuration, air conditioning is replaced by climate control, and steel wheels are light alloy, there is an automatic headlight switch-on system, black leather seats are optionally available. But the main "highlight" of the 108th is the possibility of external and internal personalization of the car by combining different colors of the roof, hood and mirror housings, as well as interior elements.
